This Privacy Policy applies to our mobile application "Quest" available on Google Play Store and our online activities, and is valid for users of our app and visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Quest. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this app or website.
By using our app or website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Cookies are separate. Non-essential cookies are only set on the website after you say yes, and you can change that answer at any time.

quests.group follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Cookies on quests.group fall into three groups. Essential cookies are always on because the site cannot work without them. The other two are off until you turn them on, and turning one off stops those cookies straight away.
You were asked to choose the first time you opened the site. To change your answer, , or use the same link in the footer of any page. Your choice is stored in a cookie called qg_consent for six months, after which we ask again.
This choice covers the website. The Quest mobile apps do not use website cookies; app analytics is described in the store listing for each app.
When you allow the analytics category, Quest uses Google Analytics for Firebase for product reporting, plus a first-party cookie that counts how many different people opened a list or a page. When you allow the advertising category, we use the Meta Pixel, the Meta Conversions API and the TikTok Pixel to understand whether advertising led to actions such as starting or verifying Lagos 5. These tools may process browser identifiers, advertising click identifiers, IP address, user agent and privacy-protected identifiers derived from information you provide. We do not send private Lagos 5 answers, selected-place lists, vibe lines or individual friend guesses to advertising partners.
Meta may use event data according to its own privacy policy and advertising controls. Browser and advertising measurement technologies can be limited through your browser settings and the controls provided by Google and Meta.
Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on quests.group, which are sent directly to users' browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.
Note that quests.group has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.
quests.group's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.
